We would like to invite you to the naturist campsite CHM Montalivet where naturism has 60 years of tradition.
Location
Set in Western France, around 100 kilometres from Bordeaux, the Montalivet naturist resort is spread over a 200 000 square metre area and is 'hidden' from the rest of the world in a pine grove. (Map) The campsite is mastered to perfection. In fact, with more then 3,000 places assigned for camping it is rather a small town. A swimming pool and an aquapark are included in the resort. The sandy Atlantic Ocean beach is 2 kilometres long and suitable for surfing.
Accommodation
Choose between different types of accommodation:
Family tents for up to 5 persons
20 square metres living area. A waterproof tent on a wooden bars with a wooden floor, where you can find a terrace, a living room, and 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped (glasses, plates, etc.) and also includes a gas cooker, a PVC table and 4 chairs and a fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave. Bedroom One includes a double bed, a night table with a lamp, blackout curtains and a mosquito net. Bedroom Two has 2 single beds, a night table with a lamp and blackout curtains with a mosquito net. Blankets and pillows are included. There is no running water inside the tent but there is an electricity.
Mobile homes for 4 to 8 people
15-37 square metres living area. There is a lounge, a kitchen and 2 or 3 bedrooms (depending on which type of mobile home you will choose). The kitchen is fully equipped (glasses, plates, etc.) and also includes a gas cooker, a fridge and a coffee maker. There are 2 bedrooms in total. Bedroom One includes a double bed, a night table with a lamp and a wardrobe. Bedroom Two has 2 single beds, a night table with a lamp and a wardrobe. Bedroom Three (if available) has two sofa beds and a wardrobe. Blankets and pillows are included. Outside wooden picnic table and 4 chairs. Toilet and bathroom included (depending on availability).
The Chalets for 2 to 10 persons
25-59 square metres (59 square metres are the two storey chalets). The living room has a table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped (glasses, plates, etc.) and also includes a gas cooker, a fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave. Bedroom One includes a double bed, a night table with a lamp and a wardrobe. Bedroom Two has 2 single beds, a night table with a lamp and a wardrobe. In the third bedroom (if available) you will find 2 single beds and a wardrobe. Blankets and pillows are included. Bathroom and a toilet included. (In some chalets the toilet is separated from the bathroom).
Studio for 2 to 4 persons
In the studio type of accommodation you will find a living room, a kitchen and one bedroom. In the living the furniture includes a sofa, a table with 4 chairs and a TV. The kitchen is fully equipped (glasses, plates, etc.) and also includes a gas cooker, a fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave. Bedroom One includes 2 single beds. In the bathroom is a big shower and a toilet. Blankets and pillows are included.
Motor homes and other tents options
There are more option with regards to the accommodation. You can arrive by a caravan and pay for your place and electricity only. Please contact us for more options and prices.
Equipment
The Monta belongs to the one of the best equipped resorts. You will find everything that you need here and you don't need to leave the camp whatsoever.
Hairdresser, bike rental, bakery, grocery shops, restaurants, organic food, French, Swiss, Belgian and other international food products. In the Sea Zen & Fun you will find products from Africa, Asia and a mini market with regularly stocked drinks, food, all types of fresh meat, herbs and spices, marmalades, jams, bakery products and much more. The local wine cellar located in the resort again will surprise you with its extensive offer. You can also go to the library and borrow some of the magazines, books and newspapers not only in French language but also in English or other languages.

Self-catering
There is a couple of well stocked shops or a choice of 10 restaurants on the campsite. Seafood specialities, French, Italian and other international cuisine.
Entertainment
The list of the entertainment in this resort is endless. Aquapark with slides, diving school, aqua gym or swimming, surfing classes in the Helio Surf Club. The local cinema opens 3 times a week. Join other guests in playing chess or cards every Friday night. The library in the resort has more than 20 thousands of books for everyone. A couple of times a week you can participate in the dance classes – classical and modern. Regular live music and concerts are happening on everyday basis. Handicrafts is getting more and more popular so don't be surprised to find work stations to learn how to paint, how to paint on a porcelain, how to make a sculpture...
Sporting events are an important and vital part of the Monta resort. Everyone will find something of an interest: from basketball, football, handball, tennis courts, volleyball, mini tennis to table tennis, group running and group cycling (every morning). Fitness studio, including a solarium, wellness, beauty parlour and a physiotherapist. Yoga sessions.
For children there is a rich program – the animation program is divided into the main group. For children between 3-5 years old and 6-10 years old. Nice playground for kids and a children's disco. Sport school.
Beach
Located on the Atlantic coastline, expect no less than 2 kilometres of a beautiful naturist beach.

How to get there
By car: Arriving from north by car: Take the A10 auto-route as far as Saintes, then follow the N105 towards Royan and take the ferry across the Gironde river to Verdon. In Verdon follow the D1215 (coastal road) towards Lesparre, continue on the D1215 until the turn-off for the D102. Turn off on your right and follow signs for Vendays - Montalivet. Continue on the D102 towards Montalivet. At the traffic lights by the petrol station in Montalivet, turn left onto Avenue de l'Europe and continue up the road to No. 46. The CHM Montalivet will be on your right.
Arriving from Bordeaux by car: Take the Bordeaux ring road, turn off at Exit 8 signposted Le Verdon/Lacanau/Le Taillan Médoc, follow the D1215 towards Lesparre. Continue on the D1215 which takes you past Castlenay, Saint-Laurent then Lesparre, go through Lesparre staying on the D1215 towards Soulac/Le Verdon, at the D102 turn-off, turn left and follow signs for Vendays-Montalivet, continue on the D102 towards Montalivet. At the traffic lights by the petrol station in Montalivet, turn left on to Avenue de l'Europe and continue up the road to No. 46. The CHM Montalivet will be on your right.
