Austria is perhaps not the best known as a naturist (FKK) destination, but it soon will thanks to this lovely place. We would like to offer you a well-equipped and comfort style hotel Lührmann. The hotel and its surrounding areas are perfect for relaxing. At the same time you will enjoy the scenery of the Alps, as the view on its peaks is visible even from the swimming pool. In the hotel sauna you can admire the hotel park outside, either lush green in summer or snowy white in the winter season.

The hotel terrace is inviting you to sunbathe and relax, and it does not matter whether it is summer or winter, as the roof top is movable.

Location

You will find this hotel in Ramsau am Dachstein. As you can guess the name of the town is derived from the famous iceberg. The town is located near another fantastic place – the ski resort Schladming. The area is great for both winter and summer trekking, train trips and much more. The hotel is located 90 kilometres from Salzburg (South East direction). Map. If you are flying into the Salzburg airport you can rent a car in one of the many car rental companies in town.

Accommodation

The number one priority of this hotel is to make you feel at home. There are 14 well-equipped, comfort style rooms. Following the hotels recent refurbishment, all rooms have ensuite bathroom, toilet and as a bonus – gorgeous view on the nearby mountains. The rooms are tiled with local wood and the interior is decorated with the stylish Italian rattan furniture. The combination of wood and nice furnishings add a warm, cosy feeling.

You can either book a double bed or two single beds in the room. In each room you will find a shower room or a bath tub, a toilet (or two), a hair dryer, a mirror, TV with a satellite, a safe, a minibar and a balcony or an enclosed balcony.Some rooms are walk through which is great for a family gathering. You can choose whether you prefer smoking or non-smoking room. Another level in this hotel is the choice for someone suffering with an allergy – specially treated rooms are also offered.

Family apartments and special big rooms are available too, so perfect for a big family get-together.

You will fall in love with the food at the Lührmann Hotel.

The breakfast is buffet style. In the afternoon you will be offered a homemade cake, espresso and a cup of tea. For dinner you will be delighted to try a fantastic variety of local dishes, together an international cuisine menus and at the same time to enjoy the mature wine from the cellar. The desserts are heavenly too.

Most items are coming from local, small and organic farms. Did you know that this region in Austria has one of the biggest concentration of 'bio' organic farms in the whole Europe? In summer you can join a barbecue outside, in the winter months have a raclette.

Entertainment

Sunbathing on the terrace or on the grass outside. Play table tennis, badminton or chess. The sauna, solarium, massages or a cosmetic parlour are available daily.

In the surrounding area you can ride a horse, play golf, go paragliding or in winter months go skiing and snowboarding or join a skiing school to practice your skills.

In summer you can go on different trekking trips in the mountains, cycle on a mountain bike or go rafting.

In winter season the list of activities here is endless. We can assure you that you won't be bored. Ski running is extremely popular. You will find more than 150 kilometres of finely adjusted ski running routes to perfection. The nearest ski piste for skiing is a 5 minute drive from the hotel and overall you will find around 80 kilometres of looked-after ski slopes. Skiing in the night, sledging and other night entertainments include disco, live music and more.

The owners of the hotel are passionate naturists, which is why this hotel is so popular amongst naturists themselves.
